NASTAD represents public health officials who administer HIV and hepatitis programs. Their mission is to end the intersecting epidemics of HIV, viral hepatitis, and related conditions.

The purpose of the first Hepatitis C Epidemiological Profile is to create a baseline of Hepatitis C virus (HCV) knowledge within Delaware and guide further research and interventions.

The campaign is aimed at increasing awareness about Hepatitis C and encouraging people born during 1945-1965 to get tested. Testing helps identify infected people so they can get care.
